The King’s School, Canterbury presents Great Expectations.
Adapted by David Farr
“All the mists on the marshes had risen….and the whole world lay spread before me; like a dream”
Join us at the Award winning Malthouse Theatre as we follow the childhood and young adult years of Pip, a blacksmith’s apprentice from a small country village. Will Pip unravel the truth behind his own ‘Great expectations’ on his quest to become a gentleman? Will the mysteries of the past and the fortunate of fate help to steer him towards maturity? Most importantly, will his journey lead him to discover the truth about himself?
