Quill & Inkling presents The Prisoner of Zenda
Wastrel, gadabout and man about town, Rudolf Rassendyll, decides to have one last hurrah before (shudder) taking a proper job. A jaunt to the Eastern European kingdom of Ruritania to take in the coronation of their new King, Rudolf Elphberg, seems just the ticket (especially as family legend insists that one of his ancestors was scandalously very familiar with the one of the previous Kings!)
Arriving in time for the coronation everything is prepared and several people even mistake Rudolf for their soon to be monarch, but things quickly take a serious turn when the real King is kidnapped in the first stage of a coup.
All seems doomed…unless someone who looks the part could step in…

Parking
The Theatre campus has very limited onsite parking available, spaces will be allocated on a first arrival basis. We recommend you use local car parks such as St Radigund’s (5-7 minute walk), Pound Lane (10 minute walk) Canterbury West (10-12 minute walk) or public transport.
Mask Wearing & Covid-19
We ask that you do not attend the theatre if you have tested positive for covid-19 and are within your 5 days of isolation. Mask wearing is no longer mandatory but we support an individuals choice to wear a mask throughout the building.
Refunds & Exchanges
The production company is not offering refunds unless the show is cancelled. Tickets can be changed for an alternative performance of the same show (subject to availability). We can endeavour to resell your ticket, if the show is old out. if your ticket is sold, we will refund the ticket value to the original payment method.
