And Then There Were None

One of Agatha Christie’s most famous mysteries, but still full of surprises and suspense
5th – 10th August

Ten strangers are summoned to a remote island, and begin to be murdered one-by-one for their past misdeeds.  But who is the murderer, and how does it end? Easy to forget! Although one of Agatha Christie’s favourite plays, there are different versions and the Old Stagers are pleased to be performing the less well known one.

A topical musical revue (known as the Epilogue) follows the play on Friday and Saturday nights. This year it is entitled: And Then There Is Nothing or To Back Or Not To Back-Stop.

Event Type: Theatre
Running Time: 143 minutes
Company: The Old Stagers

Additional Information

The tradition over the years of an extended supper interval for picnics or dinner in the theatre bar has been greatly enjoyed, but it has contributed to a very long night and would not work so well at the new theatre. So Friday night’s interval will be the usual 20 minutes. Picnics can be consumed within the theatre (before the performance and during the interval), but alcohol must be purchased from the theatre’s bar.

We wish to continue the tradition of Friday’s performance as a gala night, where black tie is customary and we plan to mark the event in the theatre in a special way – details will follow and will also be posted on the OS website – www.oldstagers.com.
